Strategies to Achieve Your Goals
.
1. Find out what is it that you want to achieve. Write a one-sentence definition of your goal. Work on this sentence until it is clear and to the point.

2. Read this sentence several times before falling asleep at night, and upon waking up in the morning.

3. Visualize your goal for some minutes, several times a day. In your mind's eye see your goal as achieved.

4. Keep an expectant mood and with an open mind. This will help you become more attentive and aware of ideas and opportunities that will come your way, and which will help you achieve your goal.

5. Exercise your will power and self-discipline to keep your focus on the goal, and to stick to your resolve to succeed. Do not let anything distract you or make you deviate from your goal.

6. Go on, even if there are obstacles on the way or you see no progress. Those who persevere succeed.

7. Silence is power. Do not talk too much on what you want to achieve. Concentrate on doing, not on talking. Too much talking with others about your desires and goals dissipate your inner powers. Learn to concentrate and channel your energy toward achieving your goal.

increase your motivation:

1. Think, meditate and find out whether you really want to achieve your desire, and whether it is worth the effort and time.
2. Make your goal very clear. Writing it down will help.
3. Think often about your goal or desire.
4. Visualize your goal as already accomplished, and close your mind to contrary thoughts.
5. Read books or articles about the subject of your goal.
6. Read about people who have achieved success.
7. Think often about the benefits you will gain by achieving your goal.
8. Visualize, and think about how you would feel after achieving your goal.
9. Repeat positive affirmations such as: "I have the desire and inner strength to achieve my goal". Repeat this affirmation often, with faith and strong feelings.
10. Start with doing something small concerning your goal. Success in small matters leads to greater success.
Motivation is the powerful engine that moves you towards success and accomplishments in every area.

The best we can do is size up the chances, calculate the risks involved, estimate our ability to deal with them, and then make our plans with confidence.

There are no hopeless situations, only people who are hopeless about them

Believe in yourself. All power is within you.
You have it all that is required to change the world around you.

Those who make the worst of their time most complain about its shortness.

Great minds discuss ideas
Average minds discuss events

All these three formulate behavior

Influencing factors of our BEHAVIOR are :

Change your wrong perceptions and opinions and attitudes

‘An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.’

NOTHING IS PERMANENT EXCEPT CHANGE. WE HAVE TO UPDATE OURSELVES ACCORDING TO CHANGES IN ALL CONTEMPORARY ASPECTS AND PRIME SECTORS WITH WHICH WE ARE SO CLOSELY ASSOCIATED, OTHER WISE WE WILL BE THE LAST ONE IN THE QUEUE.

START FINDING SOLUTIONS TO COME OUT OF THE CRISIS.

Let others say what they want to share with us.

We must be attentive while we are listening to the speaker. In the process of communication, speaker is sharing information with the listener, so both are at the extreme ends of the process of communication and language acts as the medium between them. So both the speaker and the listener must have some expertise in language they use, while sharing and receiving the information.

We must have listening etiquette

The listener while receiving information, must be careful enough and attentive as long as the speaker shares the information .

As a listener, we need to note down the main points in a note pad to avoid confusion at the end of the process of communication.

Next we need to establish coherence among all the main points of the message to get the clarity of the message we received.

Next we need to cultivate the habit of being attentive to avoid communication gap, the more the gap, the more the scope for misunderstanding the information.

To avoid this problem, we need to maintain good eye contact with the speaker till the completion of the communication process.

Make sure that you are in a zone which is free from noise pollution, or else, you may not be able to receive the exact information and might be disturbed by noise to a great extent.

Another important thing that we do, is to keep ourselves free from hesitation. When we have some doubts regarding to the information or if we want get some more additional information, we must not hesitate to get clarity and additional information from the speaker.

While receiving information or listening to any speaker, we should not let our concentration shifts from this to another event, as we can’t ride on two horses at the same moment effectively.

As a listener we remember one thing that we should never take opportunity to discuss something with somebody when the speaker shares something with us. If we do like that, other fellow listeners are also disturbed. It sends false impression to the speaker and spoils our image and reputation.

One more important point to remember is that, we should not try to divert the speaker from the main point to other topics which are of no use at that particular moment either by asking irrelevant doubts and questions. We may miss some important information if we interrupt the process of communication.

So we take care of the above points, no doubt, we are the effective listeners and it is sure , we can get the benefits of effective listening.
